Tom as a Role Model

Role models play an important part in a child's development. Children observe others and can try to imitate their actions.  Tom Daley is a positive role model that a child can actually relate to.

At just 14 years old Tom Daley has already achieved a great deal.  He was the second youngest Britain ever to compete in the Olympic Games when he went took part in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games making the final of the men's 10m platform. He has a fantastic diving future ahead of him.

But it's not just his sporting achievements that make Tom an ideal role model for young people.  He attends school as normal, keeping on top of his school work as he work towards his GCSE's. After school he does all his homework before starting a three hour training session every evening.  He also manages to find time to support charities like the NSPCC, who he is an ambassador for.

That is why My School Lunch chose Tom Daley to work with over the next four years and we are sure he will have a positive impact on your children.
